Hello,

We are Paul and Amy and we thank you for taking the time to review our book. As you flip through it, hopefully you will get a small picture of who we are. We go to work everyday, work around the house, like to have fun and spend time with our families. We are from Virginia and our parents and extended families live in the same area.

We have been trying for several years to have a family. Even though we were content with our life, something was missing. Wanting something that you cannot have has been a difficult struggle in our lives. We feel that God has given us an ability to love any child and through prayer, God has led us to adoption.

We admire your courage in making the decision to do what is best for your child. We are so thankful that there are people like you in the world who are willing to give the gift of life. Please know how much you are appreciated and prayed for by all adoptive parents.

Our families and friends are behind us. Our extended families are large with everything from infants to our grandparents! We have so many family events to share with a child. We have Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners, an annual Easter egg hunt and July 4th cookouts, to name a few. We are excited to pass on our love of the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, and gardening are things we often enjoy with cousins, aunts and uncles from both sides of the family.

We are blessed to live in a nice neighborhood with good neighbors and schools. Our home is on a cul-de-sac street with no traffic and lots of kids playing. We are working on our basement to provide extra play space for our growing family. We have a large backyard, perfect for playing catch or running around. We also attend a wonderful church that provides excellent activities for youth of all ages.

Enjoy the pictures and imagine as we do, a child in each and every one of them.
